Ali the Fox was born in 2006 from the imagination of artist Xu Han, as a symbol of simplicity and kindness in the digital world. Emerging from early online comics, she quickly became one of China’s most recognizable icons for her clean design and universal charm. When Taobao chose her as its mascot, Ali became a bridge between technology and humanity ,a friendly face in a world of pixels and purchases. Today, she stands as part of modern Chinese culture, showing that even digital commerce can tell stories and create real connections.
